ORLANDO – October 22, 2014 – Orlando City Soccer Club continues its march to Major League Soccer, launching the new www.OrlandoCitySC.com, a completely redesigned digital home for the league’s 21stexpansion club.
Orlando City is among the first clubs to migrate to MLS Digital’s new Drupal-based platform, which provides a host of interactive features designed to provide an enhanced digital experience for fans including:
A Responsive Design – Research showed that more than 50 percent of web traffic has shifted to smaller screens, therefore the new design allows the site to adapt to the user’s device, providing a seamless experience whether on a desktop or a tablet.
Enhanced Content – Our fans love content. The new layout eliminates unnecessary clutter in favor of larger screens for richer video and imagery.
Calendar Downloads – Stay on top of the latest events at Orlando City, Orlando City Youth Soccer or the Orlando City Foundation with downloadable calendars of events. This feature will be updated on a regular basis.
En Español e Português –OrlandoCitySC.com will cater to the Club’s diverse fan base by providing content in Spanish and Portuguese. These sections will continue to be enhanced in the coming months.
“We are really proud of the newOrlandoCitySC.com and hope our fans enjoy all the features to help bring them closer to their club,” said Orlando City President and Founder Phil Rawlins. “We encourage fans to take a look, tour the site and get to know all the wonderful new elements available. There is more yet to come!”
