Scarlet Knights to host Washington Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. on Fox Sports 1
(Piscataway, N.J.) – In an announcement from the Big Ten Conference and its television partners, start times for five Rutgers football games were released Wednesday. That includes the season opener at High Point Solutions Stadium against Washington scheduled for Friday, Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. on Fox Sports 1.
A second home game was also part of the announcement, as the Scarlet Knights will hold Homecoming on Oct. 21 against Purdue with a noon start. The contest will mark the first all-time matchup between the programs.
In addition, Rutgers’ Big Ten opener at Nebraska on Sept. 23 will kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET, while conference road games at Michigan (Oct. 28) and at Penn State (Nov. 11) will begin at noon. Game times and television designations for the remaining games will be announced later.
Season tickets for the 2017 season are available by the ticket office at 1-866-445-GORU (4678).
