That is right Orlando the Predators are back in the Amway Center with head coach Rob Keefe leading the team for the 2015 season. New owner Mr. Siegel complimented Coach Keefe during his press conference by calling him “The best coach in the league”.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer started the press conference off stating that the City was happy to have the team back downtown. After the Mayor spoke, commissioner Kurz approached the podium to officially announced David Siegel to be the new owner of the Orlando Predators.
In attendance were two legendary Predators, Ben Bennet and Herkie Walls, who when introduced to Mr. Siegel he smiled and said, “Hey I watched you guys play many of times” also pointing out that he has been a fan of the Predators for over 20 years.
During the press conference Mr. Siegel announced that during each home game he would like to have a single's section, family section, and a section for all the Westgate employees and their spouses. He also insisted that plans were being put in place to bus some of the resort guests downtown to attend the games.
Mr. Siegel spoke of his dedication to the team, "We're going to fill up the 18,000 seats in this arena or die trying, and I don't plan on dying any time soon."
It looks as if the Predators have finally found their perfect match.
