COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s soccer team travels to face top-ranked and undefeated Maryland at 7 p.m. ET Friday at Ludwig Field in College Park, Md. The Buckeyes are currently 3-8 overall and 2-2 in Big Ten play, while the Terrapins are 8-0-2 overall and 4-0-1 in conference action. The matchFriday will be shown live on the Big Ten Network.

Ohio State was edged by No. 25 Michigan State, 1-0, last Sunday in Columbus. The Spartans scored the lone goal of the match in the 23rd minute by Ryan Sierakowski. The Spartans outshot the Buckeyes, 12-8, and had a 4-3 lead in corners. Ohio State has dropped three straight matches with losses against Bowling Green Sept. 24 and SIUE Sept. 28. The Buckeyes will be seeking their first road win of the season Friday night in College Park, Md.
SETTING THE STAGE
