TAMPA, Sept. 26, 2016 – University of South Florida libero Amy Van Sant (Atlanta) was recognized on the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll on Monday.
Van Sant registered a career-high tying 25 digs over four sets (6.25 digs per set) in the Sunday afternoon victory against Memphis.
The senior also totaled a team-high 17 digs at UCF (Sept. Sept. 21) and her 42 digs were the most on the USF stat sheet this past week.
This is the first weekly honor roll selection for Van Sant in 2016 and the second of her career (Oct. 28, 2013).
The Bulls (10-4,1-1 The American) are on the road next weekend at Cincinnati (Sept. 30) and at East Carolina (Oct. 2).
USF returns home to host Tulane on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. The Bulls will be signing autographs following the match. Fans can purchase USF home match tickets HERE.
