TAMPA, Sept. 13, 2016 – The University of South Florida athletics department announced on Tuesday that the USF Classic will be held at the Sun Dome.
The two-day volleyball tournament, which begins on Friday, will feature six matches between LIU Brooklyn, Stetson, Wright State and your 6-3 USF Bulls.
USF returns home after competing in the DePaul Invitational last weekend. The Bulls have already won two tournaments this year including the season-opening Charlotte Invitational and the USF Invitational, which was also held at the Sun Dome.
The tournament includes a rematch between USF and Stetson on Friday at 7 p.m. (the Bulls swept Stetson on Sept. 3). USF will also have a doubleheader on Saturday, facing Wright State at 1 p.m. and LIU Brooklyn at 7 p.m.
Friday night is Autograph Night at the Sun Dome. The Bulls volleyball team will be signing merchandise and posters following the Stetson match. Saturday night is also Greek Life Night with many on-campus fraternities and sororities attending the match. The Greek organization with the largest attendance will also receive $250.
