Orlando, FL - On Tuesday 10th May, 2016, The Invictus games track finals were held. There were 37 events in total and all countries gave their best efforts. The United States of America compiled 16 gold medals with most them being from male athlete Evan Sears. He was able to secure the first position in four races and Kelly Elmlinger doing the same in the female races. Team Italy secured 2 gold medals and both were from an amazing athlete, Russo Domenico.
France compiled 7 gold medals and Team United Kingdom won 3 gold medals at the end of the finals. The Netherlands had Paulus Mathijssen, an excellent runner who took gold in the 100M Male IT7 and the 200M Male IT7. Team Australia left with 3 gold medals, Canada with 2 and Denmark with 1.
The athletes received their medals from VIP Invictus guest’s like Prince Harry of Wales, the Prince of Jordan, multiple representatives of Jaguar, the Fisher Organization, the chairman of the Invictus games and many more.
