Orlando, FL- Wichita State’s Markis McDuffie broke a back and forth opening half after draining one beyond the arc for three points and the lead. McDuffie returned to sink two more three-pointers to keep Alabama on the Shockers’ trail.
Alabama took a one-point lead late in the first, and lost the lead through much of the half, but Shannon Hale’s 12 points allowed the Crimson Tide to end Wichita’s streak. The forward became Friday’s lead scorer at 20 points, 6-10 in field goals and 6-7 at the free throw line
