INDIANAPOLIS, Tuesday, May 3, 2016 - Anticipation for the 100th Running of the Indy 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil continues to build, with tickets for many of the weekend's best opportunities going fast. With few reserved seats left, and many concert opportunities selling quickly, fans are encouraged to purchase Race Weekend experiences sooner rather than later.

"We're thrilled to see tickets for all of our activities selling fast, and encourage fans to visit IMS.com and monitor our social media accounts to stay-up-to-date on the availability of Indy 500 grandstand seating, concert tickets and many other opportunities. We can't wait to see everyone at the Speedway in May!"

Tickets are now on sale for the Angie's List Grand Prix of Indianapolis, 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil, Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational, Lilly Diabetes 250, the Crown Royal Presents the "Your Hero's Name Here" 400 at the Brickyard and the Red Bull Air Race. Fans have three quick, convenient methods to buy tickets:
Online: Visit www.ims.com/tickets. Tickets are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
Phone: Call 800-822-INDY or 317-492-6700 between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (ET) Monday through Friday.
In Person: Visit the IMS Ticket Office at the IMS Administration Building east of the 16th Street roundabout and outside Turn 1 of the oval between 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (ET) Monday through Friday.
Tickets for groups of 20 or more also are available. Contact the IMS Group Sales Department at 866-221-8775 for more information.

The following Race Weekend updates are available for members of the media and public:
- Indy 500 Reserved Seating: Reserved seats are still available for the Indy 500, but in increasingly small quantities. If fans want a seat at the race, they should visit ims.com or call the ticket office at 317-492-6700 as soon as possible. For the first time in many years, it is expected that reserved seating for the Indy 500 will sell out.
- Indy 500 General Admission: GA tickets for the Indy 500 can be purchased at www.ims.com or by calling the Indy 500 ticket office. Fans are encouraged to purchase their Race Day General Admission tickets as early as possible to insure IMS can mail fans their tickets prior to Race Day. Print at home tickets are not available for Race Day this year.
- Concerts VIP and Concerts GA: VIP sections for the Snake Pit on Race Day, Miller Lite Carb Day on Friday, May 27, and Legends Day presented by Firestone on Saturday, May 28, are sold out. This year, Snake Pit GA wristbands are expected to sell out prior to Race Weekend. Fans are encouraged to buy their tickets now to ensure they can participate in all concert experiences.
- Indy 500 Weekend Camping: Due to high demand, all camping, including Lot 1C, is sold out. The Indy 500 ticketing page on IMS.com currently lists several alternative camping options for fans.
- Parking: Parking within the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is sold out for Race Day. Race Day parking options are available in the surrounding Town of Speedway area on a first-come, first-served basis at several locations, including local Speedway schools. The Indy 500 ticketing page lists addresses for several of these locations. In addition, alternative transportation information can be found here.
- For Carb Day, prepaid infield parking is sold out. First-come, first-served parking remains in Lot 7 (North 40). Entrance to this lot is off of 30th Street and fans should arrive by 10 a.m. on Carb Day to access this parking. Free parking is not available within the infield for Carb Day in 2016.
- For Legends Day, prepaid parking is still available for $25 in the infield, or $15 in Lot 7 (North 40). Limited free parking is available in Lot 1B and 1C.
- IMS Race Day App: Fans are encouraged to download the new IMS mobile application to ensure a hassle-free trip to IMS. It is available for both iPhone and android devices. Simply go to the app store and search for "Indianapolis Motor Speedway."
