***Jaguars Press Release***
The Jacksonville Jaguars today lifted the roster exemption for second-year wide receiver Justin Blackmon and returned him to the club’s 53-man roster. Guard Jacques McClendon was waived from the roster.
Blackmon, who was suspended the first four games of the 2013 season, set franchise rookie records in 2012 for receptions (64), receiving yards (865) and average per reception (13.5). His five receiving touchdowns tied the club’s rookie record and ranked second among all NFL rookies. He started 15 of 16 games and concluded the season with at least five catches in six of the last seven games.
